Super fast installation using ‘hinged’ jacket and peel-away closure
PUR-SplitTube™ is pipe insulation that’s quickly and easily installed in the field utilizing 6.1 m (20 ft) long polyurethane shells and a hinged polyethylene jacket.
PST can be applied to any type of direct bury piping ranging from 25 mm (1 in) to 350 mm (14 in).
All the benefits of polyurethane foam:
- max insulation value
- high compressives
- closed cell construction
- few seams relative to conventional mechanical insulation shells resulting in water tight system with less heat loss/gain overall
- lightweight and easy to ship
- applications up to 93°C (200°F)
