Fire Water Mains

Typically, fire water mains are pressurized and ‘ready’ for potential emergencies. This is not a problem when the pipe is below the frost zone. However, when the fire main piping is shallow buried or above ground it is critical that the water is available on demand. Urecon pre-insulated pipe combined with a proper constant wattage heat trace system is used to ensure reliable insurance.
