Pre-Insulated Sewer Service Pipe

DR 26 HDPE, DR 35 and DR 28 PVC sewer pipes are usually pre-insulated with 50 mm (2 in) thick polyurethane insulation and standard 1.27 mm (50 mils) thick polyethylene outer protective jacket. Electric tracing is not normally required unless extreme ambient conditions prevail. Saddles, branch tees and elbows may be either pre-insulated in the factory or field insulated with insulation kits depending on the type of pipe, jointing method and customer preference.
