North America
Throughout North America, the Urecon U.I.P.® insulation process is used in resort hotel developments, hospitals, and ℃campus style℃ district cooling systems. Used to move centrally chilled water for air conditioning - our highly efficient, factory applied polyurethane insulation reduces heat gain from warm soil (or ambient air temperature). This results in considerable energy savings for the end-user.
Chilled water piping can be insulated steel, PVC, HDPE, ductile iron or FRP. Kingspan LOGSTOR PEX-Flex can also be used for smaller systems.
Urecon's unique method of insulating 'over the bell' of socket joined PVC and CPVC (or push-on DI) pipe means no more bare pipe joints or expensive joint kits. See Bell x Spigot or Push On Joints.
